Shhh – it’s Christmas Eve!

My Person’s mother told her that when she was a girl, their family had a little tradition that whoever said Merry Christmas Eve first (at the appropriate time of day, of course – evening, dark, etc.) would get a little present. We wonder if that would work for us.

Our person has a turkey in the oven. It smells heavenly. We have heard that we might be invited to the big table for dinner. We shall see.

We got a new cookie cutter in the mail today – a little gingerbread man. We have been asking for one, so we are very excited. It’s never too late to bake cookies, is it?

Look at the new gingerbread boy cookie cutter, everyone.

Fortunately, the chef is willing to keep on baking.

Be good – Santa is still watching for naughty and nice, you know, and it’s not too late to switch your name to the the other list.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Hitty G and the Capital City Hittys
